Mobile Banking Overview
The mobile banking service utilizes best practices from online banking, such as HTTPS, 128-bit SSL encryption, PIN, or password access and application time-out when your phone is not in use. Only the phones that you personally enroll in the service can access your accounts. In addition, no account data is ever stored on your phone. And in the event your phone is lost or stolen, the service can be immediately disabled by either going online to the Mobile Banking enrollment website or calling us.
Ensure your phone's browser has cookies enabled. In addition, enable stylesheets for the best viewing experience. To do so, reference the manual that came with your device for instructions.
When you login from a mobile device that our mobile banking system does not recognize, you will be prompted to answer additional security questions. You can choose to have the Online Banking system "remember" the mobile device you are currently using or to prompt you again when you use this device. For example, you may wish to register a mobile device to which only you have access. Conversely, you should not register a device that is not yours.
The People's United Bank mobile App can be used on most mobile devices such as:
